Transformation

I made the decision to eat NO meat on June 22nd at 2:11 a.m.
On July 1st I decided I will just not eat any red meat or pork and I love it and I'm sure my body appreciates it

"I don't understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open and put them on cholesterol-lowering drugs for the rest of their lives."
~Dean Ornish, MD

I haven't permed my hair in almost two months it feels NAPPY and I like it DIFFERENT but I'm enjoying the journey, I DON'T LIKE FADS so I'm doing this for me perms have just broke my hair down so bad that I need to let it breathe and restore ;-)

"Defining nappy hair as unmanageable based on the above standard would be like, defining straight hair as unmanageable because it...can hardly keep a braid, a cornrow or a curl. It doesn't make sense does it?"
Mireille Liong-A-Kong, Going Natural

More importantly is my spiritual transformation, through different recent experiences in my life I am growing more in touch with what I need and realizing that all this other stuff DOES NOT DEFINE ME and knowing that because someone doesn't see or appreciate you for who you are you can not dwell on that if you want to continue to GROW!

Peace, Love & Happiness until my next updates ;-)

My thoughts for today, I am learning that God puts people in your life for different reasons and seasons. I'm always asking WHY is it so hard for me to let people go even when I know they don't have my best interest at heart. I guess you can't help the make-up that you have been given I'm sensitive and emotional and thus that's how I form attachments. This is not right or wrong it just is. In the end I love myself and I know that he is watching over me :-)
